42 Bonus Ep. EverydayLooper Truckin' Ditties Pt. 1

This is a special bonus episode (Pt. 1) where I specifically want to feature ditties recorded last year while trucking with the iPhone app "Everyday Looper," starting with TRUCKaCHUGGING IN KENTUCKY (1:30) I remember going through a very powerful storm in Chicagoland that looked like the end of the world, hopefully we'll face the STORMY WEATHER together, baby (3:22) TENDER DREAMS (are made of cheese) from Columbus, Ohio now from I-294 mildly amused and distracted by pink colored billboards (6:18) The sun is SHINING in my eyes (7:15) iTunes review solicitation AS I FEEL ALONE (9:11) If at all with any SENSE OF CONFIDENCE, I can say this one is my favorite of the bunch and the very first "Piece of Cake" with the app and the Cuatro (a 4-string bigger>ukelele) that my mom brought from Bogotá (12:12) FORMER DRAG-STAR will build it and you will come? I wish!

41 That's Why I Made It Clear, Turn Me Off, I Forgot How It Goes, One With The Music

[Part 1 of 0305 RISE UP++] (1:07) We got some issues, well, I got some issues that you are welcome to; you are important to me, that's why I MADE IT CLEAR that I love you, but if you won't take me seriously I'm just going to fall down at your feet in total defeat; how can I show you that I am for real? We've not seen eye to eye from the beginning, how can we get it right at the ninth inning? (6:12) Don't expect me to be likable to your ear until I find an excuse to be amused; entertain me, that's your mission in life...can I raise above your suspicions in my condition of titillation? In this game of heavy rotation I'm playing for keeps but I just need you to TURN ME OFF; sleep for a week sounds good to me, when was the last time I had forty ;) winks? (10:48) Something's changed in my mood but have I lost you in the groove? 'Cause tomorrow has come and I FORGOT HOW IT GOES, aka crushing writer's block to smithereens! (16:58) I'm ONE WITH THE MUSIC, can't deny my life is all about the music, words are not my strength; is it time to move on? I've been meaning to let go of my music, set it free in cyberspace but I can't do it on my own, please leave me some positive vibe back rubs on iTunes reviews, thank you so much!

40 Not Alone, Disease Other Than Me, Not Afraid Anymore, Let Us Go

[0305 Lita's78th.Electricity pt. 2] With my Abuelita's 88th birthday this album clocked 10 yrs in the making; of which "Doña María" is track #5 and ThankUiLoveU #4 from Ep. 38, while "My Dogs Fly" featured in rJBm's Ep. 36 is #2. "I'm NOT ALONE, I'm not the only one who's got it all wrong" is the first song idea in that cassette tape which I include in its entirety against my better judgement while I ramble in Spanglish half asleep but hey, at least you're in good company with Everwood's efervescent Ephram, you're not the only one who's got a bone to pick with the world (7:17) From Sealy TX where Fibee thoroughly enjoyed the puddles in the embankments around the Blencor warehouse after a torrential downpour, DISEASE OTHER THAN ME is a slowburner with ThumbJam's cello and slide guitar that I sorta dig (11:39) NOT AFRAID ANYMORE in the wake of some trouble in paradise, I know what I know is keeping me from loving like before, but this is what love has become and I'm ready to move forward; I know we can take control of our lives, but we can't dictate what love does to us...A tractor-trailers loud air brakes can be heard being released at precisely 12:38 where cymbals would have been played, perfect timing dear anonymous rest area colleage! (15:20) LET US GO, ditty for a much needed 'hiatus' as in 'Hi, I hate us' or ala that Moranis shrinkage movie 'Honey I just ate us', (depending on context...whatevs)

39 The Things That Hurt Me Most, Another Mystery Unfolds, A Long Time Ago, @theEnd of The Road

I'm so predictable it's sickening sometimes but here we are, am I wasting my time doing this podcast or should I keep going? Please let me know in your iTunes reviews 'cause I don't want to dwell on THE THINGS THAT HURT ME MOST...I need your ["unsolicited";)] love on iTunes! (4:44) Another MYSTERY UNFOLDS before my eyes (8:30) That was such A LONG TIME AGO (13:08) Getting close to THE END OF THE ROAD I don't see a fork anymore, afraid to move on leaving without a trace, but I guess I will carry on after finishing the publication of 2003's Carry On Mister, feeling ready to embark in new and challenging adventures along with you my adoring [albeit as of yet non-existing outside the realm of my imagination] fans!

38 Es como se sienten los 88 de la Señora María, qué inspiración es mi abuelita linda!

This ditty for mi abuelita's 88th birthday is influenced by the Colombian rhythms and lyricism of "Campesina Santandereana" which has always made me think of my grandma "Lita" when she headed from high school in rural Málaga to nursing school in Bogotá, achieving her goals of service, independence and family life as she tamed the capital city into a "ruana" to guard her from the cold. (7:16) Original idea for preceding ditty from May 1st 2003 when she turned 78 and we talked on the phone about their celebration of my nephew's 2nd birthday on April 29...Now Juan Pablo is turning 12 and here's a couple recordings [like @ (10:10) Dudú's song for David] from October 2010 after his family moved from Bogotá to New Haven, in which J.P. recaps my indie short film McFly in Mandalay and (11:11) shares one of his piano compositions while Gabriel eagerly calls for tío John's attention in the background (12:24) After emptying the answering machine that included a lovely greeting from aMyBeLoved I responded with a heartfelt THANK YOU I LOVE YOU...10 yrs later the ditty turns into a tirade about mutuality expectations and a thwarted understanding of romantic love (like the pop song 'I want/need/ beg/hurt/kiss... you to want/need/ beg/hurt/kiss me (15:24) From 9911 End of Uncertainty,GaGA's (remembering my first Thanksgiving in the U.S. the previous year which was a double, one at Yolanda's in Davie and the other at Gary Schmidt's in Miami), My heart CANNOT STAND IT TO BE QUIET | If randomJBmusings new m.o. stands as it is, this recording would be tackled in 2019 not 2013, a little cheating here because I'd been meaning to use it as filler for a while.
